Dungeon ADVENTURE! Needs Playtesters!

Geoff Bottone, one of SlugFest's designers, has a pet project of his that he's been working on for nigh on seven years now. This project, his very own RPG, has gone through countless iterations and playtest sessions and is now just about ready to see the light of day.

This game is called Dungeon ADVENTURE! It is a fantasy role-playing game based on his ADVENTURE! system. If all goes well with Dungeon ADVENTURE!, Geoff hopes to create additional games using the same system in other genres. He's already thought up some partial designs for Space, Horror, Kung Fu, and Superhero versions of the game.

He has prepared a beta-test version of Dungeon ADVENTURE! and he would like any and all interested SlugFans to have a look. Whether you'd only be able to give it a quick read through, or whether you'd be able to run a few sessions of your own, Geoff would be eternally grateful for any and all constructive feedback he would receive.

Your opinions will help him to streamline and improve the game for its eventual release.

Ye Olde Commons Games Week

SlugFest Games will be attending the National Games Week event at Ye Olde Commons in Charlton, MA (check out their website at www.yeoldecommons.com) on Saturday, November 24, 2007 (that's two days after Thanksgiving).

So if you're in the neighborhood and looking to game off your tryptophan, come on down. Or up. Or sideways. You know, depending on where you are in relation.

VASSAL Engine for Red Dragon Inn

SlugFan David Neumann has kindly converted the Red Dragon Inn into a game for the VASSAL Engine. According to the VASSAL Engine website:

VASSAL is a game engine for building and playing online adaptations of board games and card games. It allows users to play in real time over a live Internet connection (in addition to playing by email). It runs on all platforms, and is free for personal use.

Check it out! It's nifty!
